From the calendar
Official source · Faculty of Arts & ScienceStructure and stereochemistry determination using modern spectroscopic techniques. Several techniques are discussed but particular emphasis is given to NMR (1H and 13C NMR) and mass spectrometry. The approach taken emphasizes applications of these spectroscopic methods to organic problems. Students are trained to run their own spectra (IR, UV, NMR, GC-MS). (Lab Materials Fee: approximately $27).
